We made it. It's easier to make it trough these holly jolly times when we understand that the celebration isn't about us or family or happiness at all. It's about salvation and gratitude. It' about real joy that can exist apart from happiness and hand-in-hand with suffering. It's about God. A very sincere MERRY CHRISTMAS from my sick bed to all the earth. Even if it's both said and accepted with painful tears, it is still TRUE. Find a church and go home for Christmas. Today's celebration belongs to EVERYONE, not just those with a family or health enough to host a feast.

Oh sing to the LORD a new song,

for He has done marvelous things!

All the ends of the earth have seen

the salvation of our God.

Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth!

Break forth into joyous song and sing praises!
